What is a Squarespace to Webflow migration?
A Squarespace to Webflow migration moves your pages, blog posts and images out of Squarespace and into a new Webflow site. Squarespace's export file covers basic pages, one blog and galleries, but not image files, product pages or extra blogs, so those are moved by hand. Old URLs then get 301 redirects.

We run Squarespace's WordPress-format export and check it against your live site, page by page.
Images moved separately
Image files do not come with the export. We download each one, give it a clear name and alt text, and upload it to Webflow.
Collection pages rebuilt
Blogs, events, portfolios and stores are collection pages in Squarespace. Each becomes a Webflow CMS Collection with one clean template.
Every blog, not just one
The export only includes one blog page. If you run two, the second one is copied over by hand.
Product pages planned
Product pages do not export. We decide with you if they move to Webflow Ecommerce or stay on an outside store.
URL map and redirects
Squarespace paths for pages, posts, galleries and products are paired with new Webflow URLs and loaded as 301 redirects.
How it works
How we move a Squarespace site to Webflow.
- 1Inventory. We list every page, blog post, gallery, event and product URL, and check which ones get traffic in Search Console.
- 2Export and fill the gaps. The export file brings basic pages, one blog and galleries. Images, products, events and extra blogs are collected by hand.
- 3Rebuild in Webflow. Collection pages become CMS Collections, so blog posts and gallery items each use one template.
- 4Redirect map. Every old Squarespace URL is paired with its new Webflow URL and loaded as a 301 redirect.
- 5Launch and check. We point the domain to Webflow, test the redirects and watch Search Console after launch.
Custom CSS and style settings do not export either, so your design is rebuilt in Webflow. It is a good time to improve it.

Common questions
Squarespace to Webflow questions, answered.
Does Squarespace let me export my whole site?
Only part of it. Squarespace exports a WordPress-format file with basic pages, one blog and gallery pages. Image files, product pages, event pages, audio and video blocks, extra blogs and custom styles stay behind. We plan for each of those so nothing goes missing in the move.
What happens to my Squarespace images?
We move them by hand. The export file does not carry the image files themselves. We download each one, rename it in plain words, add alt text, compress it and upload it to Webflow. Clear file names and alt text also help your photos show up in image search.
Can my Squarespace store move to Webflow?
Usually, but it is its own decision. Product pages do not export, so each product is rebuilt. Products can move into Webflow Ecommerce, or stay on an outside store that the new site links to. We look at your products and checkout needs on the call and recommend one.
Will my blog URLs change?
They might, and that is fine if they are redirected. Webflow blog posts live under one folder you choose, like /blog/post-name. We match your old Squarespace paths where we can and give every other old URL a 301 redirect, so links and rankings carry over.
What does a Squarespace to Webflow migration cost?
Two parts. Your Webflow site plan is paid to Webflow, and their prices are at webflow.com/pricing. Our migration fee depends on your pages, blogs, galleries and products, and you get it in writing after a 30-minute call, before any work starts.
