What you get
What is a WordPress to Webflow migration?
A WordPress to Webflow migration moves your site's pages, blog posts, categories and images from WordPress into Webflow, then rebuilds the design in Webflow's visual editor. Done right, every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new address, so Google keeps your rankings and visitors never hit a dead page.
URL inventory
We crawl the live site and pull every page, post, category, tag and image URL into one sheet before anything moves.
Posts and categories export
WordPress's built-in export gives us your posts, pages, categories and tags. We map each field into a Webflow CMS Collection.
301 redirect map
Every old URL gets a new home. The map is loaded into Webflow's 301 redirect settings and tested before launch.
Permalink cleanup
Date-based or messy permalinks get a simple pattern, like /blog/post-name, with redirects covering every old one.
Plugins replaced
We list what each plugin does today: forms, SEO, sliders, caching. Most become built-in Webflow features. The rest get a lighter tool.
No more patch days
Webflow runs the hosting and the platform, so there are no plugin or core updates for your team to install or test.
How it works
How we move a WordPress site to Webflow.
- 1Inventory. We crawl the site and pull your top pages from Google Search Console, so we know which URLs carry traffic and links.
- 2Export. The Tools > Export file in WordPress gives us posts, pages, categories and tags. Images come from the media library.
- 3Rebuild. The design and templates are built in Webflow, and posts are imported into a Blog Collection with categories as a reference field.
- 4Redirect. Every old URL, including permalinks plus category and tag archives, is paired with its new URL in a two-column sheet and imported into Webflow as 301 redirects.
- 5Launch and check. We switch the domain, test the redirects, submit the new sitemap and watch Search Console for errors.
Good to know: Webflow imports 301 redirects in bulk from a CSV file, and each new import replaces the whole list. We always export the current list first, so no redirect gets lost.

Common questions
WordPress to Webflow questions, answered.
Will I lose my Google rankings moving from WordPress to Webflow?
Not if the redirects are done right. Rankings drop when old URLs break. We list every URL that gets traffic or links, give each one a 301 redirect to its new page, and keep the titles and content that already rank. Then we watch Google Search Console after launch and fix any errors fast.
Can you move my WordPress blog posts automatically?
Mostly, yes. WordPress exports posts, pages, categories and tags in one file. We clean that data and import the posts into a Webflow CMS Collection. Shortcodes, page-builder layouts and some plugin content do not carry over cleanly, so we rebuild those parts by hand and check every post before launch.
What happens to my WordPress plugins?
They go away, and so do their updates. We list what each plugin does first. Forms, SEO fields, sitemaps and most animations are built into Webflow. Things like booking, reviews or chat come back with a small embed or app. You end up with fewer moving parts that can break.
Do I have to change my permalink structure?
No, but it is a good time to fix it. Webflow CMS pages live under a folder, like /blog/post-name. If your WordPress posts used dates or no folder, we pick the new pattern with you and redirect every old permalink, so links from other sites still work.
What does a WordPress to Webflow migration cost?
Two parts. Your Webflow site plan is paid to Webflow, and their prices are at webflow.com/pricing. Our migration fee depends on your page count, posts and plugins, and you get it in writing after a 30-minute call, before any work starts.
