What does a Webflow developer do?
A Webflow developer turns a design into a live Webflow site. That means setting up classes and variables, building responsive layouts, structuring the CMS, adding interactions and any custom code, and testing all of it. The goal is a site that loads fast, reads well on a phone and stays easy for your team to update.
What is Client-First class naming?
Client-First is a free class naming system for Webflow made by Finsweet. It uses plain-English class names and shared utility classes, so a new developer or marketer can open the site and understand it. We use it or a similar system on every build, so your site never turns into a pile of random class names.
Can my team edit the site without breaking it?
Yes. The Webflow Editor lets your team change text, images and CMS items without touching the layout or styles. We set up the CMS so most updates are just filling in fields, and before launch we show your team exactly which parts are safe to change on their own.
Do you add custom code to Webflow sites?
Only when Webflow cannot do the job by itself. Common examples are structured data, booking or chat widgets, and tracking scripts. Each piece goes in a labeled embed or in the page settings, with a short note on what it does, so it never becomes a mystery to the next person.
What does Webflow development cost?
Two parts. Your Webflow plan is paid to Webflow, and their prices are posted at webflow.com/pricing. Our fee depends on scope, such as page count, CMS work and custom features. It comes in writing after a 30-minute call, before any work starts.
