Webflow Speed Optimization · Nationwide
Webflow speed optimization for pages that load before visitors leave
We trim heavy images, extra scripts and fonts on your Webflow site so it loads fast on a phone. Then we measure it against Google's Core Web Vitals.

What you get
What is Webflow speed optimization?
Webflow speed optimization is the work of making a Webflow site load and respond faster. Webflow already serves pages from a global CDN. Most slowdowns come from what gets added later: oversized images, too many third-party scripts, heavy fonts and big animations. We fix those and measure the result with Core Web Vitals.
Image diet
We resize oversized images and convert JPEG and PNG files to WebP or AVIF with Webflow's built-in conversion tool.
Smart lazy loading
Images below the fold load as the visitor scrolls. The hero image loads right away, so the top of the page shows up fast.
Script cleanup
Chat widgets, trackers and old pixels add up. We list every third-party script, remove dead ones and delay the rest where it is safe.
Font trim
Each font weight is another file to download. We cut unused weights and styles so text appears quickly and does not jump.
Layout shift fixes
Images, embeds and banners without set sizes push content around. We give them room so the page holds still while it loads.
Animation check
Heavy scroll effects and large Lottie files can slow taps and clicks. We keep motion that helps and cut what drags.
How it works
How we speed up a Webflow site
- 1We test your key pages on mobile and desktop and pull field data from Search Console where Google has it.
- 2We rank what is slowing each page, from the biggest win to the smallest.
- 3We save a restore point, then fix images, scripts, fonts and layout shifts.
- 4We test again and compare the before and after numbers with you.
- 5We leave you a short list of habits, like image sizes to upload, so the site stays fast.
We do not promise a perfect score. Tools you rely on, like booking or chat widgets, carry their own weight, and we will tell you the tradeoff.
Why it matters: Google rates a page as good when Largest Contentful Paint is 2.5 seconds or less, Interaction to Next Paint is 200 milliseconds or less, and Cumulative Layout Shift is 0.1 or less, at the 75th percentile of visits.

Common questions
Webflow speed questions, answered.
Is Webflow fast by default?
Webflow gives you a strong start. Pages are served from a global CDN, and new images lazy load by default. Speed problems usually come from what is added after launch: large photos, extra tracking scripts, chat widgets, many font weights and heavy animations. That is where we focus.
Does Webflow convert images to WebP or AVIF?
Yes. Webflow has a built-in tool that converts JPEG and PNG assets to WebP or AVIF. Converting replaces the original file, so we keep a copy first. We use WebP for social share images, since AVIF is not widely supported there.
What are Core Web Vitals?
They are three Google measures of page experience. Largest Contentful Paint tracks how fast the main content shows up. Interaction to Next Paint tracks how fast the page responds to taps and clicks. Cumulative Layout Shift tracks how much the layout jumps while it loads.
Will a faster site rank higher?
Speed is one of many signals Google uses, so a faster site alone will not push you to the top. It helps in close races, and it keeps visitors on the page long enough to call or fill out a form. We pair speed work with SEO when it makes sense.
What does Webflow speed optimization cost?
Two parts. Your Webflow site plan is paid straight to Webflow, and you can see it at webflow.com/pricing. Our fee depends on how many pages, images and scripts need work. You get it in writing after a 30-minute call, before we start anything.
