What you get

What is Webflow maintenance?

Webflow maintenance is the routine care a Webflow site needs after launch. Webflow handles servers, SSL certificates and security patches. Maintenance covers what Webflow does not: updating content, fixing broken links, testing forms, saving restore points before big changes, watching your plan and billing, and checking that pages still load fast.

Content edits

New photos, staff changes, updated hours, fresh service details. Send the change and we make it in Webflow and publish it.

Broken link checks

We crawl the site for dead links and bad redirects, then fix them so visitors and Google do not land on a 404 page.

Form tests

We submit your forms and confirm each notice reaches the right inbox or CRM. A quiet form can cost leads long before anyone notices.

Backups before changes

Webflow saves restore points as you work. We also save a named restore point before any big change, so we can roll back fast.

Plan and billing watch

We keep an eye on your Webflow site plan, CMS item counts and renewal dates, so a plan limit or a failed payment does not catch you off guard.

Monthly health check

We look at speed, mobile layout and Search Console errors, then tell you what we found and what we fixed.

How it works

How Webflow maintenance works

  • 1We review your site and list what needs regular care: forms, key pages, links, plan limits and connected tools.
  • 2We save a named restore point, so there is always a clean version to go back to.
  • 3You send changes when you need them. We make them, check them on desktop and mobile, then publish.
  • 4Each month we test forms, check links and look over speed and Search Console errors.
  • 5If something breaks, we restore or fix it and explain what happened in plain English.

Your site stays yours. You own the site, the domain and the content.

Why it matters: Webflow creates restore points automatically as you work, and paid site plans keep unlimited backups. Restoring can switch off some settings, like reCAPTCHA keys and bot blocking, so we recheck those after any restore.

Common questions

Webflow maintenance questions, answered.

Does a Webflow site need maintenance?

Yes, but less than most sites. Webflow handles hosting, SSL and security updates, so there are no plugins to patch. Your site still needs care: content goes stale, links break, forms stop reaching the right inbox, and plans need watching. Maintenance covers those jobs.

Does Webflow back up my site?

Yes. Webflow saves restore points automatically as you work, and a site manager can save one by hand any time. Paid site plans keep unlimited backups. Before any big change, we save a named restore point so we can roll back quickly if something looks wrong.

What is the difference between maintenance and hosting?

Hosting keeps the site online. Your Webflow site plan covers hosting, SSL and a global CDN. Maintenance is the work on top of that: content edits, link checks, form tests, backups and watching your plan. Our website hosting page explains how hosting is set up.

Can I still make my own edits?

Yes. You can keep editing text, images and CMS items in Webflow yourself. Many owners handle small updates and send us the bigger jobs, like new pages, layout changes or anything that touches forms and integrations. We will show you which is which.

What does Webflow maintenance cost?

Two parts. Your Webflow plan is paid to Webflow, and their prices are at webflow.com/pricing. Our fee depends on how much care your site needs and how often you send changes. It comes in writing after a 30-minute call, before any work starts.
