Webflow Cloud is Webflow's hosting for web apps. A developer builds an app in a framework like Next.js or Astro, keeps the code on GitHub, and Webflow Cloud deploys it under your site's domain, such as /portal, alongside your Webflow pages. It runs on Webflow's hosting with Cloudflare as the infrastructure partner.

Webflow Cloud supports Next.js and Astro, Vite builds for React, Vue or Svelte, and static apps.
GitHub deploys

SQLite for structured data, a key-value store for fast lookups and object storage for files and images.

Good to know: Webflow Cloud is billed by usage, such as requests, bandwidth and CPU time, pooled across a site's apps, and limits vary by Webflow plan. We look at expected traffic with you before the build.

What can I build with Webflow Cloud?
Small web apps that belong next to your marketing site. Think quote calculators, customer portals, booking flows, internal dashboards or tools that read and write data. If it needs a login, a database or server code, Webflow Cloud can host it under your domain instead of on a separate server.
Do I need Webflow Cloud, or is a regular Webflow site enough?
Most service businesses only need a regular Webflow site. Pages, blog, forms and CMS content are all built in. Webflow Cloud makes sense when you need real app logic, like saving user data, running calculations on a server or connecting to other systems in ways a page embed cannot.
Which frameworks does Webflow Cloud support?
Webflow lists Next.js, Astro, Vite builds for React, Vue, Svelte or plain JavaScript, and static apps with no build step. Code is stored in GitHub and deployed from there. We pick the one that fits the app and your team, and we explain why on the call.
Who owns the app code?
You do. The code lives in a GitHub repository under your account, and the Webflow site stays in your Webflow account. If you ever change developers, they get the repo and keep going. We write a short handoff note so the next person knows how it is set up.
What does Webflow Cloud development cost?
Two parts. Webflow Cloud usage is paid to Webflow and depends on your plan and traffic, with prices at webflow.com/pricing. Our build fee depends on what the app does, and you get it in writing after a 30-minute call, before any work starts.
