How we move a design from XD to Webflow
- 1Review the file. We check artboards, fonts, assets and prototype links, and list anything missing.
- 2Export the assets. Images come out at the right sizes, and icons and logos stay as SVG.
- 3Build the system first. Colors, type sizes and spacing become Webflow classes and variables before any page goes up.
- 4Build pages and CMS. Pages, templates and collections go in, then content is loaded.
- 5Test and hand over. We check every screen size, test forms, and show your team how to edit.
Why move now: Adobe says XD is in maintenance mode. It is still fixing bugs and handling security needs, but it is not investing in new features. A design that only lives in XD has a shrinking future. A live Webflow site does not.

XD to Webflow questions, answered.
Is Adobe XD being discontinued?
Adobe says XD is in maintenance mode. It still fixes bugs and handles security and privacy needs, but it is not investing in new features. Adobe also says it will work with customers on the right time to end support. Moving your design into a live Webflow site takes that worry off your plate.
Do I need a perfect XD file?
No. A rough file is fine. We work from what is there and fill the gaps, like phone layouts, empty states and form messages. If part of the design is unclear, we ask before building instead of guessing. Your answers get written into the build notes.
Can you match my XD design exactly?
Very closely on desktop, and faithfully on smaller screens. A browser draws text and spacing a little differently than a design tool, so we tune those details by eye. You review the pages before anything goes live, and we adjust anything that looks off to you.
What if my design is in Figma instead?
We handle that too. Figma files often carry extra build detail, like auto layout, which helps us plan the Webflow build. Either way, the goal is the same: a live site that matches the approved design. Our Figma to Webflow page walks through that process.
What does an XD to Webflow build cost?
Two parts: your Webflow plan is paid to Webflow (webflow.com/pricing); our fee depends on scope and comes in writing after a 30-minute call. The number of unique page layouts matters more than the total page count, since repeated layouts reuse the same templates.
