How Much Does a Webflow Website Cost in 2026?

A Webflow website has two costs: the Webflow plan and the build. As of October 21, 2026, Webflow's site plans run from free to $25 a month billed yearly for most business sites. The build is usually the bigger cost. It depends on page count, content, CMS setup and migration work, not on Webflow itself.
Key takeaways
- Webflow's Basic plan is $15 a month and Premium is $25 a month, billed yearly. Paid monthly, they are $25 and $39.
- Premium is the plan most service businesses need, because it includes the CMS for blogs, service pages and locations.
- Build cost is driven by scope: how many page designs, how much writing, how many CMS collections, and whether you are moving an old site.
- Ask any agency for a written scope and a written price before you sign. Forty-Second Street gives you ours in writing after a 30-minute call.
What are the two parts of a Webflow website's cost?
The first part is what you pay Webflow: a site plan for hosting, plus any add-ons. That is a small, steady monthly or yearly bill. The second part is what you pay a person or team to plan, write, design and build the site. That is usually a one-time project fee, sometimes followed by a monthly care plan.
Many owners only see the first number and think a Webflow site costs $25 a month. That is the hosting. A site that wins calls also needs a plan, real content, good photos and a design that fits your brand. That work is where most of the budget goes.
It also helps to think in years, not months. A site usually lasts several years. Add the plan cost for those years, the build, and any upkeep. That total is the fair number to compare.
What does Webflow charge for site plans in 2026?
Webflow lists three main site plans. Starter is free but only works on a webflow.io address. Basic is $15 a month billed yearly and has no CMS. Premium is $25 a month billed yearly and includes 20,000 CMS items. Billed monthly, Basic is $25 and Premium is $39. These prices are per site.
Here is what Webflow's pricing page and its May 2026 pricing notice showed when we checked on October 21, 2026:
| Site plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | CMS items | Static pages | Monthly bandwidth |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | Free | 50 | 2 | 1 GB |
| Basic | $15/mo | $25/mo | None | 300 | 10 GB |
| Premium | $25/mo | $39/mo | 20,000 | 300 | 50 GB, more with add-ons |
| Team | $2,500/mo, annual contract | Not offered | 20,000 | 500 | Up to 30 TB a year |
For one year, Premium costs $300 billed yearly or $468 billed monthly. Basic costs $180 billed yearly or $300 billed monthly. Paying yearly saves real money if you plan to keep the site.
Which plan fits? Basic works for a small site that rarely changes, like a five-page brochure site. If you want a blog, a page for each service, or pages for the towns you serve, you need Premium. Most service businesses that want to grow in search end up on Premium.
Selling products online uses separate Ecommerce plans. Webflow lists Standard at $29, Plus at $74 and Advanced at $212 a month billed yearly, with limits of 500, 5,000 and 15,000 products. See our Webflow ecommerce page if that is you.
What changed in Webflow's May 2026 pricing?
Webflow merged its old CMS and Business plans into one Premium plan and raised the Basic price. The change hit new purchases on May 13, 2026, and most existing sites at renewal after June 29, 2026. Sites in Freelancer or Agency workspaces, and some older legacy plans, switch at renewal after November 16, 2026.
Other changes worth knowing, per Webflow's notice:
- The old CMS plan held 2,000 CMS items. Premium holds 20,000. Extra CMS item add-ons were removed.
- The old Business plan had 100 GB of bandwidth. Premium starts at 50 GB, with paid add-ons up to 2.5 TB.
- Switching from monthly to yearly billing before your change date kept your current plan for one more year.
If you had a Webflow site before 2026, check your next renewal date and plan name. Your bill may go up or down depending on which plan you had and how much traffic you get.
What add-ons might you pay for?
Most service business sites need no add-ons. Three are worth knowing. Analyze shows how visitors use your site, starting at $9 a month. Localize translates the site into other languages, starting at $9 a month. Optimize runs conversion tests, starting at $299 a month. Each one is priced by usage tiers.
| Add-on | What it does | Starting price (billed yearly) | Who needs it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Analyze | Site traffic and behavior insights | $9/mo, priced by sessions | Owners who want simple stats inside Webflow |
| Localize Essential | Up to 3 locales, AI translation words included | $9/mo | Businesses serving customers in another language |
| Localize Advanced | Up to 10 locales, more translation words | $29/mo | Larger multilingual sites |
| Optimize | Testing to raise conversions | $299/mo, priced by page views | High-traffic sites |
| Extra bandwidth | More monthly traffic on Premium | Varies by tier | Sites with heavy traffic or large files |
Many small businesses use free Google Analytics instead of Analyze. Our Webflow analytics setup connects GA4, call tracking and form tracking so you can see which pages bring in leads.
Do you also need a Webflow Workspace plan?
Maybe. A site plan pays for hosting one site. A Workspace plan pays for the people and tools that build it. If an agency builds and manages your site in its own workspace, you may only pay the site plan. If you want your own workspace with editing seats for staff, Webflow sells Workspace plans separately.
Webflow's pricing page lists Core at $19 a month and Growth at $49 a month, billed yearly, for in-house teams. Extra full seats are $39 a month each and limited seats are $15 a month each, billed yearly. Freelancer and Agency workspaces are priced for the people who build sites, not for owners.
Ask this up front: whose workspace will the site live in, and who owns it? Make sure the site plan and your domain are in your company's name, so you keep control if you ever change vendors.
What kinds of Webflow projects are there?
Most Webflow projects fall into a few types. A template site uses a ready-made design with your content. A custom marketing site is designed from scratch for your brand. A CMS-heavy site adds many service, location or blog pages. A migration moves an old site. Ongoing care keeps it updated after launch.
Each type takes a different amount of work. Here is how they compare, without dollar figures, because prices vary so much by scope:
| Project type | What it usually includes | Relative effort | What drives cost most |
|---|---|---|---|
| Template customization | A purchased template with your logo, colors, text and photos | Lowest | How far you change the template |
| Custom marketing site | Original design, 5 to 15 page layouts, mobile versions, forms | Medium | Number of unique page designs |
| CMS-heavy site | Collections for services, areas, projects, blog and FAQs | Medium to high | Number of collections and how much writing they need |
| Migration from another platform | Content moved, URLs mapped, 301 redirects, SEO carried over | Medium to high | Number of pages and posts to move |
| Ecommerce build | Products, checkout, shipping and tax setup | High | Number of products and options |
| Ongoing care | Updates, new pages, checks and reports each month | Monthly | How much new work you ask for |
For a custom build, see our Webflow website design and Webflow development pages. If you are coming from WordPress, our WordPress to Webflow page covers the move.
What drives the price of a Webflow build?
Scope drives price. The biggest factors are how many unique page designs you need, who writes the words, how many CMS collections you need, whether you are moving an old site, and which tools must connect, like booking, call tracking or a CRM. Photos, animation and rush timelines add more.
Here are the main cost drivers, roughly from biggest to smallest for a service business:
- Unique page designs. A homepage, a service page and a contact page are three designs. Ten service pages built from one CMS template count as one design.
- Writing. If you supply finished text, the build is faster. If the team writes every page, that is real work, and it is often the most valuable part.
- CMS setup. Each collection needs fields, a template and rules. Our Webflow CMS development page explains what goes into that.
- Migration. Moving 20 pages is very different from moving 400 blog posts with redirects for each one.
- Connections. Booking tools, CRMs, call tracking and chat each take setup and testing.
- Photos and video. A real photo shoot of your team and jobs costs more than stock, and it usually converts better.
- Timeline. A rush job means people drop other work, which costs more.
What does it cost to keep a Webflow site running?
Yearly running costs are the site plan, your domain, any add-ons, and the time or service you use for updates. Webflow handles hosting, SSL and platform updates, so there are no plugin updates to pay for. Most of the ongoing spend goes to new content and improvements, which is where a site earns more leads.
A simple yearly list for a typical service business:
- Webflow Premium site plan: $300 a year, billed yearly.
- Your domain name, paid to your domain company.
- Any add-ons you choose, if any.
- Updates: your own staff time, or a care plan such as our Webflow maintenance service.
Compare that with WordPress, where you pay for hosting, premium plugins and the time to keep them all patched. Patchstack counted 11,334 new WordPress security flaws in 2025, 91% of them in plugins. That upkeep is a cost even when it does not show up on an invoice.
How do you get a real quote for a Webflow site?
Get a written scope before you get a price. A good quote lists the pages, the CMS collections, who writes the content, what moves from your old site, what tools connect, and what happens after launch. At Forty-Second Street, our fee comes to you in writing after a 30-minute call, once we understand what you need.
Ask every agency or freelancer these questions:
- How many unique page designs are included?
- Who writes the words, and how many rounds of edits are included?
- Will my site plan, domain and Google accounts be in my company's name?
- How will you protect my current rankings if we are moving an old site?
- What does support look like after launch, and what does it cost?
- Can I see live sites you built in Webflow?
We have been building brands and websites since 2010, and every site our team builds today is built in Webflow. We hold 5 Google Skillshop certifications and 138 five-star Google reviews. We will tell you plainly if a smaller project fits your goals better.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Webflow hosting cost per month?
As of October 21, 2026, Webflow's Basic site plan is $15 a month and Premium is $25 a month when billed yearly. Billed monthly, they are $25 and $39. Starter is free but only runs on a webflow.io address. Most service businesses need Premium, because it includes the CMS for blogs and service pages.
Is the Webflow Basic plan enough for a small business?
Only for a small site that rarely changes. Basic has no CMS, so you cannot run a blog or build many service and location pages from one template. If you plan to publish often or want to grow in search, start on Premium so you do not have to rebuild pages later.
Why do Webflow agency prices vary so much?
Because the work varies. A template with your logo is a small job. A custom design with written content, many CMS pages, a site migration and connected tools is a big one. Compare quotes by the written scope, not the total, so you know what each price actually includes.
Do I have to pay Webflow and an agency every month?
You pay Webflow for the site plan, monthly or yearly. Paying an agency each month is optional. Some owners update the site themselves after launch. Others choose a care plan for updates, new pages and checks. Either way, make sure the site plan and domain stay in your company's name.
Did Webflow raise prices in 2026?
Some prices went up and some went down. In May 2026, Basic rose to $15 a month billed yearly, and the old CMS and Business plans merged into Premium at $25. Premium holds 20,000 CMS items. Existing sites switch at their renewal, with some workspaces switching after November 16, 2026.
The bottom line
A Webflow site costs a small, steady plan fee plus a build that depends on scope. Most service businesses need the $25 a month Premium plan, billed yearly. The bigger question is what the build includes, so get it in writing before you compare prices. If you want our scope and fee in writing, Book a free call with Mike, or See every Webflow service.
